IBIZA MEDIEVAL FAIR MAY 2019
More than 150.000 visitors from all over the world together with locals enjoy this fantastic fair every year.
The 2019 is expected to be even more popular, from 9th May until 12th May for the twentieth edition, the Ajuntament de Eivissa is expeting that the numbers of visitors will increase again!
For four days the alleys of the Old City turn in to a giant open street theatre with music shows, exhibitions of bird tamers, fire eating ,
bellydance shows, handcraft artists, food stands, silver jewellery…a magic world from the past.
UNESCO declare that Ibiza is the best conserved acropolis on the Mediterranean area and also for this reason the perception of the visitors is to be really carried into the past! With the multicultural heritage, that Ibiza lived with Phoenicios, Romans, Arabs and Christians, the atmosphere is coloured and sparkling. More than 200 stands, more than 100 artists that make alive aristocrats, fakirs, soldiers, dancers a really charming atmosphere…a really fairy tale experience.
